Bring me the Horizon

Bring me the horizon are a deathcore/metalcore british band from Sheffield, Yorkshire. Formed in 2004, the group consists of lead vocalist Oliver Sykes, lead guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish. While their earlier work is noted for its strong influence from American metalcore bands they started to adopt a more eclectic style of metalcore in their newer albums. They have released four studio albums and two extended plays. The band’s name comes from the final line of the film Pirates of the Caribbean when Captain Jack Sparrow says “Now, bring me that horizon”

The band released their debut album Count Your Blessings in 2006. Their second album, Suicide Season was released in 2008, while a remix of the album titled Suicide Season: Cut Up! was released a year later. Before the release of the special edition of Suicide Season: Cut Up!, the founding rhythm guitarist Curtis Ward left the band to follow a diffrent career path. He was later replaced with Jona Weinhofen, of I Killed the Prom Queen. Bring Me the Horizon’s third studio album There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret. This released 4 October 2010. The band won the Best Video award at the 2012 Kerrang! Awards for their song “Alligator Blood”. The band released their fourth album, Sempiternal, on 1 April 2013.

Black Veil Brides is an American rock band based in Hollywood, California. The lead singer is Andrew Dennis Biersack, who was known as Andy Sixx or Andy six until recently. They were set up in 2006 With andy as singer, Chris “Craven” Riesenberg – drums, Nate Shipp – rhythm guitar, backing vocals, Johnny Herold – lead guitar, Phil “Catalyst” Cenedella – bass, backing vocals. In 2009 they released their album ‘we stitch these wounds’ replacing former members of the band with; David “Pan” Burton – rhythm guitar, Chris “Hollywood” Bluser – lead guitar and backing vocals, Sandra Alvarenga – drums and percussion, Ashley Purdy – bass and backing vocals and Jeremy “Jinxx” Ferguson – rhythm guitar, violin and backing vocals. They later released their album ‘set the world on fire’ in 2011 where former band members were again replaced with Christian “CC” Coma – drums and percussion, and Jake Pitts – lead guitar. This made the current line up of Andy, Ashley, Jake, jinxx and CC. In 2012 they released their latest album ‘wretched and divine’.

Asking Alexandria

Asking Alexandria are a British metalcore band from York, North Yorkshire. Set up in 2008 by Ben Bruce after returning to the UK. The current line-up of the group consists of Ben Bruce (lead guitar), Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (rhythm guitar), Sam Bettley (bass guitar) and James Cassells (drums). They released their album ‘Stand Up and Scream’ in 2008 which was shortly followed by their album ‘reckless and relentless’ in 2010. In 2012 they released a short film,Through Sin + Self Destruction. The film promises a “controversial, uncensored look into the real lives of a new era of rockstars for today’s generation”. The film contains a trilogy of three music videos from the band’s second album, Reckless and Relentless. The songs are Reckless and Relentless, To the Stage, and Dear Insanity.

My chemical romance

My chemical romance is an American rock band from new jersey. Set up in 2001 by lead singer Gerard Way after witnessing the 9/11 attacks, they soon followed with their first album ‘I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love’ in 2002. The band also consists of Frank Iero-guitarist, Mikey Way-bassist and Ray Toro and also had drummers Bob Bryer and Matt pelissier who both left the band. They have had 3 others albums after ‘bullets’, ‘three cheers for sweet revenge’ in 2004, ‘the black parade’ in 2006′ and ‘danger days: the true lives of the fabulouys killjjoys’ in 2010. They have recently been been releasing old singles from there scrapped 2009 album ‘conventional weapons’
